Kingscliff Public School

PROJECT: Custom outdoor seating for school CLIENT: Kingscliff Public School SCOPE OF WORKS: Design, fabricate and install new outdoor seating for new school extension

Park Furniture Australia (PFA) was proud to partner with Kingscliff Public School for their exciting new school extension. As a forward-thinking institution, Kingscliff Public School wanted outdoor seating solutions that combined functionality, durability, and creativity to complement their new modern facilities. PFA stepped in to deliver custom-designed furnishings that elevated the school’s outdoor spaces, providing both practical and aesthetic value for students, staff, and visitors alike.

Kingscliff Public School engaged PFA to design, fabricate, and install a range of outdoor seating tailored to their unique vision. The scope of works included crafting settings for the new extension that would align with the school’s scheduled timeline for the grand opening. With a strong emphasis on innovative design, durability, and creating an inviting environment for students, the project required meticulous attention to detail from concept to installation.

PFA began the project with an in-depth consultation process to fully understand the school’s goals and requirements. The school requested outdoor seating that would:

  • Complement the new section’s modern architectural design.
  • Provide vibrant, student-friendly spaces that encourage social interaction and engagement.
  • Include playful, educational elements like chessboards integrated into café and lunch settings.
  • Incorporate bright pastel colours to create a fun, feel-good atmosphere.
  • Feature unique shapes, including circular seating, to enhance the functionality of semi-circular spaces.

With these goals in mind, PFA’s expert design team set to work, creating custom seating solutions that checked all the boxes. The designs combined practicality with creativity, ensuring the furniture would not only look great but also stand up to daily use by energetic students.

Durability and safety were top priorities for this project. PFA utilised premium aluminium and recycled plastic to craft the outdoor furniture, ensuring it could withstand constant use and exposure to the elements without sacrificing style. The new café and lunch settings were enhanced with integrated chessboards, offering students an opportunity for strategic play and mental engagement during breaks. The use of vibrant pastel colours added a cheerful touch, promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere. For smaller, semi-circular areas, PFA incorporated circular settings to seamlessly fit the space while maintaining the design’s overall cohesion. These settings were both functional and visually striking, contributing to the school’s innovative approach to outdoor space design.

To ensure a smooth and stress-free process for Kingscliff Public School, PFA provided installation services as part of the project. The team worked closely with the school to coordinate the installation timeline, ensuring all furnishings were in place ahead of the grand opening. The seamless installation process included precise placement of the custom outdoor settings, including those integrated into the new feature walls. The result was a cohesive and polished look that tied the outdoor spaces together beautifully.

The completed project was met with enthusiastic approval from Kingscliff Public School. The vibrant outdoor seating provided students with a fun and functional space to relax, socialise, and engage in stimulating activities like chess. The thoughtful integration of shapes, colours, and educational elements created an environment that inspires creativity and connection, perfectly reflecting the school’s values. The use of premium aluminium ensured the outdoor furniture would remain in excellent condition for years to come, while the unique designs added a distinctive touch to the new section of the school. With the grand opening a resounding success, Kingscliff Public School now boasts outdoor spaces that set a new standard for modern educational environments.

Park Furniture Australia was thrilled to be a part of the Somersby Falls Picnic Area upgrade project, a picturesque destination within Somersby Falls National Park, NSW. Known for its lush rainforest setting, cascading waterfalls, and accessible walking tracks, this picnic area provides the perfect escape for families, school groups, and visitors seeking tranquillity. When tasked with the upgrade project, we were determined to deliver outdoor furniture solutions that seamlessly complemented the natural beauty of the area while meeting the high expectations of the client.

dog agility park - ECOPLASWOOD park furniture

Gold Coast Dog Agility Parks

PROJECT: Custom dog agility course fabrication & installation CLIENT: Gold Coast City CouncilSCOPE OF WORKS: Design, fabricate and install three custom ECOPLASWOOD dog agility courses

Park Furniture Australia (PFA) is delighted to showcase our recent collaboration with Gold Coast City Council to develop multiple state-of-the-art Dog Agility Parks. This project represents our commitment to creating sustainable, community-focused outdoor spaces that promote health, happiness, and environmental stewardship.

The primary objectives of the Dog Agility Park project were:

  1. To provide a fun, engaging, and safe space for dogs to exercise and play.
  2. To foster a sense of community among local dog owners.
  3. To utilise environmentally friendly materials, aligning with Gold Coast City Council’s sustainability initiatives.

The resulting park designs in Reedy Creek, Ashmore & Parkwood were meticulously designed to cater to dogs of all sizes and skill levels, from seasoned agility champs to those simply having a play. The agility equipment includes a variety of obstacles, ramps, and platforms that provide endless opportunities for dogs to run, jump, and weave.

One of the standout features of this project is the use of Australian recycled plastic in all the agility furniture through our ECOPLASWOOD material. This material choice reflects our commitment to durability and environmental sustainability. Recycled plastic not only withstands the rigours of outdoor use and active play but also contributes to reducing our carbon footprint, making the park a green initiative.

This project stands as a testament to PFA’s and Gold Coast City Council’s commitment to sustainability. By choosing recycled plastic for the agility equipment, we have significantly reduced the environmental impact of the project. This initiative aligns with broader environmental goals and sets a standard for future community projects. The materials used are robust and weather-resistant, ensuring the park remains safe and enjoyable for years to come.

With sustainability at the forefront of this project, PFA partnered with Little Rippers to install their innovative dog poo bag dispensers at the parks. The Little Rippers dispensers represent a sustainable solution for managing dog waste, contributing to the cleanliness and maintenance of the park. Designed to withstand the harsh Australian environment, these dispensers are made from recyclable materials and are designed with durability in mind. From specialised UV-stabilised materials to their integrated roll-breaking system, these dispensers are specially designed to support eco-friendly practices. PFA is proud to be the exclusive distributor of Little Rippers in Queensland.

The Dog Agility parks have quickly become a beloved destination for dog owners living in Reedy Creek, Ashmore & Parkwood. They offer a safe and fun environment for dogs to exercise, which is crucial for their physical and mental health. Additionally, the parks have become a social hub where dog owners can meet, share experiences, and build friendships. The inclusion of Little Rippers dispensers further enhances the park’s functionality and cleanliness, making it a pleasant and well-maintained space for everyone.

Gold Coast City Council has expressed their satisfaction with the project, noting the positive feedback from the community and the park’s success in promoting a safe environment for dogs to exercise and the community to gather backed by sustainable practices. They noted that using recycled plastic in the equipment is a brilliant example of how we can create environmentally friendly and durable public spaces. The addition of Little Rippers dispensers ensures that the park remains clean and eco-friendly, providing a valuable resource for the community. Local residents have embraced the parks, and they have quickly become a community favourite.

All Saints Anglican School

PROJECT: School campus outdoor seating fabrication and installationCLIENT: All Saints Anglican School, QLDSCOPE OF WORKS: Series of custom outdoor settings for school campus

Park Furniture Australia recently completed a custom outdoor furniture project for All Saints Anglican School in Queensland. The client for this project, the school’s Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association, were looking for an innovative supplier of high-quality, durable and sustainable outdoor furniture for the school grounds. They chose Park Furniture Australia to complete the fabrication, supply and installation of 12 custom picnic settings powder coated in the school’s signature blue colour.

Park Furniture Australia worked closely with the P&C Association throughout the project to ensure the final product met their specific needs and requirements. In a school environment, it’s essential our outdoor furniture products are highly durable and able to withstand the harsh Australian environment. Choosing durable and graffiti-proof products for a school environment can help to minimise maintenance costs, extend the life of the products, and create a safe and inviting outdoor space for students and staff to enjoy. We are able to achieve these effects by manufacturing our outdoor furniture range sustainably using ECOPLASWOOD, a material made from recycled plastics in our own custom formula, which helps our products maintain their robust, maintenance-free, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing qualities throughout the life of the product.

The Park Furniture Australia team custom fabricated and installed 12 of our Dryander outdoor settings across the school’s campus. The fabrication and installation process was completed on time and on budget, and the result was a set of picnic settings that perfectly match the school’s atmosphere. The client was extremely happy with the final product, which was a customised, eco-friendly, high-quality outdoor seating solution that will withstand the trials of a school environment.

Park Furniture Australia is proud to have been a part of this project and looks forward to working on similar projects in the future. The custom outdoor furniture created for All Saints Anglican School is a testament to the quality and expertise of the Park Furniture Australia team. It also demonstrates our commitment to assisting educational institutions across Australia in making the outdoors more comfortable for students, teachers and school community members as a leading outdoor furniture supplier for Education Australia.

Centenary Memorial Gardens

PROJECT: Centenary Memorial Gardens Outdoor Area upgradeCLIENT: Centenary Memorial GardensSCOPE OF WORKS: Upgrade the outdoor furniture in the grounds.

Centenary Memorial Gardens is known as one of Queensland’s most beautiful memorial spaces and they required some durable, comfortable and easy to maintain outdoor furniture. We supplied them with park seats and park benches.

“A few years ago, we found Park Furniture Australia online after a quick search for recycled plastic outdoor furniture.

We wanted a range of outdoor furniture that would require minimal maintenance and still look really good. The products are just fabulous, they are durable, strong and look stunning, plus it is environmentally friendly – which is a bonus.

This is not our first job with Park Furniture Australia, over the past few years the team have supplied us with multiple outdoor seating solutions. We keep going back to them because we really like their product, it looks fantastic but our main reason to keep coming back to them is mostly because their service is impeccable and they make us feel like we are heard and respected as people. We cannot fault either their product or their service.

Throughout the ordering and manufacturing process Scott and Craig kept in close contact with the Landscapers as they needed to finish their portion of the works prior to installation of the furniture, specifically the concrete. We were really impressed with this and it made the process so much easier.

Park Furniture Australia has just brought out a new colour range which we really liked and so we chose our latest bench products to be manufactured in the new colours which look absolutely superb. Scott and Craig were really helpful with the colour selections, helping us to match to existing.

Then when it came to the install they were there during and then afterwards to clean the products ready for use. We are just really happy with the end product and the ongoing relationship we are forging with them.

We are extremely happy with the final outcome and would be more than happy to recommend Park Furniture Australia as our outdoor furniture supplier of choice both now and into the future.”

” The Park Furniture products are just fabulous, they are durable, strong and look stunning, plus it is environmentally friendly. “
