Park Furniture Australia (PFA) is delighted to showcase our recent collaboration with Gold Coast City Council to develop multiple state-of-the-art Dog Agility Parks. This project represents our commitment to creating sustainable, community-focused outdoor spaces that promote health, happiness, and environmental stewardship.

The primary objectives of the Dog Agility Park project were:

To provide a fun, engaging, and safe space for dogs to exercise and play.
To foster a sense of community among local dog owners.
To utilise environmentally friendly materials, aligning with Gold Coast City Council’s sustainability initiatives.

The resulting park designs in Reedy Creek, Ashmore & Parkwood were meticulously designed to cater to dogs of all sizes and skill levels, from seasoned agility champs to those simply having a play. The agility equipment includes a variety of obstacles, ramps, and platforms that provide endless opportunities for dogs to run, jump, and weave.

One of the standout features of this project is the use of Australian recycled plastic in all the agility furniture through our ECOPLASWOOD material. This material choice reflects our commitment to durability and environmental sustainability. Recycled plastic not only withstands the rigours of outdoor use and active play but also contributes to reducing our carbon footprint, making the park a green initiative.

This project stands as a testament to PFA’s and Gold Coast City Council’s commitment to sustainability. By choosing recycled plastic for the agility equipment, we have significantly reduced the environmental impact of the project. This initiative aligns with broader environmental goals and sets a standard for future community projects. With sustainability at the forefront of this project, PFA partnered with Little Rippers to install their innovative dog poo bag dispensers at the parks. The Little Rippers dispensers represent a sustainable solution for managing dog waste, contributing to the cleanliness and maintenance of the park. Designed to withstand the harsh Australian environment, these dispensers are made from recyclable materials and are designed with durability in mind. From specialised UV-stabilised materials to their integrated roll-breaking system, these dispensers are specially designed to support eco-friendly practices. PFA is proud to be the exclusive distributor of Little Rippers in Queensland.

The Dog Agility parks have quickly become a beloved destination for dog owners living in Reedy Creek, Ashmore & Parkwood. They offer a safe and fun environment for dogs to exercise, which is crucial for their physical and mental health. Additionally, the parks have become a social hub where dog owners can meet, share experiences, and build friendships. The inclusion of Little Rippers dispensers further enhances the park’s functionality and cleanliness, making it a pleasant and well-maintained space for everyone.

Centenary Hotel & Avenues Tavern Townsville

PROJECT: Outdoor venue outdoor setting fabrication & installation CLIENT: Centenary Hotel & Avenues TavernSCOPE OF WORKS: Fabricate and deliver a series of 27 outdoor settings

The client in this project were two venues in the Townsville area, the Centenary Hotel and Avenues Tavern, who approached Park Furniture Australia requesting unique outdoor seating solutions. These venues sought outdoor seating solutions that would meet the needs of their outdoor ‘beer garden’ areas. To suit this high-patronage environment, Park Furniture Australia knew our clients needed a robust, durable and saleable outdoor seating design that could comfortably accommodate patrons in an outdoor environment. Highly durable, sturdy, transportable outdoor furniture was essential within a hotel and tavern environment.

In response to this brief, the Park Furniture team designed a tailored outdoor furniture solution that would fulfil this client’s and their venues’ stylistic and performance requirements. This outdoor seating design featured a series of custom outdoor settings in our premium Fort Lytton design fit with umbrella holes to provide shade and protection from the elements.

The robust design of our Fort Lytton outdoor setting features ECOPLASWOOD, our own patented material made from recycled plastic, which helps our products maintain their robust, maintenance-free, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing qualities throughout the product’s life.

Over the span of only a month, the Park Furniture team meticulously manufactured 27 ECOPLASWOOD outdoor picnic settings in our Capalaba workshop. Our production team’s hard work and dedication saw our clients’ orders fulfilled promptly and to a high standard.

Upon fabrication completion, the Park Furniture Australia team handled the logistics seamlessly, delivering, assembling and installing all outdoor furniture products on-site at both the Centenary Hotel and Avenues Tavern locations. Our team also sourced and installed premium commercial umbrellas to fit each outdoor setting to provide shade and protection from the elements.

The project was a resounding success, meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations. The Centenary Hotel and Avenues Tavern in Townsville now boast durable, environmentally friendly, and visually appealing outdoor settings that enhance the overall experience for their patrons.

Over 50’s Retirement Village

A leading over-50’s retirement village in South East Queensland approached Park Furniture Australia to manufacture, supply and install custom outdoor furniture to be used in their new outdoor recreational area. The client’s brief was a specific request for custom outdoor furniture based on drawings provided by an architect.

The client for this project, one of Australia’s largest active lifestyle village developers, provided detailed drawings and specifications for the required outdoor furniture pieces from an architect’s designs. They were seeking quality workmanship and durable outdoor furniture. Park Furniture Australia was chosen to fulfil their custom request for Aluminium outdoor furniture. We were happy to help this community enhance their outdoor recreational space with visually appealing, durable Aluminium outdoor furniture pieces.

Park Furniture Australia manufactured and installed a range of Aluminium outdoor furniture pieces, including our Aluminium Lawrence park seats and custom-built U-shaped benches designed to meet the client’s vision and specifications. In a community of retirees, comfort, versatility, and safety were our key goals when manufacturing this range of Aluminium outdoor seating. We wanted to ensure the residents would be comfortable and safe so they can enjoy their relaxation and recreational activities in the gardens.

Aluminium plays a crucial role in outdoor furniture and is a choice material at Park Furniture Australia due to its durable and sustainable qualities. All Saints Anglican School

Park Furniture Australia recently completed a custom outdoor furniture project for All Saints Anglican School in Queensland. The client for this project, the school’s Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association, were looking for an innovative supplier of high-quality, durable and sustainable outdoor furniture for the school grounds. They chose Park Furniture Australia to complete the fabrication, supply and installation of 12 custom picnic settings powder coated in the school’s signature blue colour.

Park Furniture Australia worked closely with the P&C Association throughout the project to ensure the final product met their specific needs and requirements. In a school environment, it’s essential our outdoor furniture products are highly durable and able to withstand the harsh Australian environment. Choosing durable and graffiti-proof products for a school environment can help to minimise maintenance costs, extend the life of the products, and create a safe and inviting outdoor space for students and staff to enjoy. We are able to achieve these effects by manufacturing our outdoor furniture range sustainably using ECOPLASWOOD, a material made from recycled plastics in our own custom formula, which helps our products maintain their robust, maintenance-free, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing qualities throughout the life of the product.

The Park Furniture Australia team custom fabricated and installed 12 of our Dryander outdoor settings across the school’s campus. The fabrication and installation process was completed on time and on budget, and the result was a set of picnic settings that perfectly match the school’s atmosphere. The client was extremely happy with the final product, which was a customised, eco-friendly, high-quality outdoor seating solution that will withstand the trials of a school environment.

Greenacre Splash Park NSW

Nestled in Roberts Park in Greenacre, NSW, the newly developed Greenacre Splash Park combines water play and recreational areas with high-end amenities. Greenacre Splash Park is a free, all-ages, all-abilities park which features a variety of water and spray activities as well as play inclusions such as swings, climbing equipment and slides. This new development seeks to benefit the health and well-being of local residents by providing opportunities for social connection and fun within the community.

With many picnic shelters for BBQs and seating options for parents and families included throughout the Splash Park Development, Park Furniture Australia was called on to custom manufacture a range of inclusive seating and table options to feature throughout the park. The City of Canterbury Bankstown reached out to our Brisbane team in 2021 as they were keen to keep the project on schedule despite the constraints of the NSW COVID-19 lockdowns at the time. Council’s project manager enquired if we had the capacity to take on this project, and of course, we leapt into action right away! We were happy to help the Greenacre community and set to work custom fabricating steel and hardwood timber seating solutions to be installed onsite.

Park Furniture Australia custom manufactured a wide range of items from benches, outdoor settings, bar tables, freestanding park seats and stonewall-mounted park seats to the featured circular bench at the centre of the park. We completed all fabrications and deliveries on schedule despite COVID restrictions.

The local Greenacre community are delighted with the park and can now enjoy their day at Greenacre Splash Park from the comfort of one of the many benches, seats and outdoor settings throughout the park.

Centenary Memorial Gardens is known as one of Queensland’s most beautiful memorial spaces and they required some durable, comfortable and easy to maintain outdoor furniture. We supplied them with park seats and park benches.

“A few years ago, we found Park Furniture Australia online after a quick search for recycled plastic outdoor furniture.

We wanted a range of outdoor furniture that would require minimal maintenance and still look really good. The products are just fabulous, they are durable, strong and look stunning, plus it is environmentally friendly – which is a bonus.

This is not our first job with Park Furniture Australia, over the past few years the team have supplied us with multiple outdoor seating solutions. We keep going back to them because we really like their product, it looks fantastic but our main reason to keep coming back to them is mostly because their service is impeccable and they make us feel like we are heard and respected as people. We cannot fault either their product or their service.

Throughout the ordering and manufacturing process Scott and Craig kept in close contact with the Landscapers as they needed to finish their portion of the works prior to installation of the furniture, specifically the concrete. We were really impressed with this and it made the process so much easier.

Park Furniture Australia has just brought out a new colour range which we really liked and so we chose our latest bench products to be manufactured in the new colours which look absolutely superb. Scott and Craig were really helpful with the colour selections, helping us to match to existing.

Then when it came to the install they were there during and then afterwards to clean the products ready for use. We are just really happy with the end product and the ongoing relationship we are forging with them.
