Ipswich Inner-city Precinct

Ipswich City Council sought durable and visually appealing outdoor seating solutions for a new inner-city precinct designed to accommodate large-scale public events, including the annual Christmas Carols and festive celebrations. The goal was to provide high-quality, robust seating that would not only enhance the aesthetics of the area but also withstand frequent use and ensure long-term site security and safety. 

Park Furniture Australia was selected to design and manufacture custom aluminium outdoor settings that met these specific requirements. Our expertise in outdoor furniture allowed us to develop solutions that balanced strength, durability, and style, creating seating that could endure the demands of a busy urban environment while maintaining a sophisticated appearance. 

Structural integrity was a top priority for this project. The furniture needed to be heavy and secure enough to remain in place during high-traffic events and adverse weather conditions. Using high-grade aluminium, we engineered settings that provided exceptional durability without compromising on design. The chosen colour scheme—gloss white and a Blue Gum woodgrain effect—ensured that the furniture complemented the surrounding landscape and added a modern yet natural touch to the precinct. 

By working closely with Ipswich City Council, we successfully delivered the custom settings on schedule for the 2024 Christmas Carols and festive season. The final installation exceeded expectations, providing a functional and stylish seating solution for community events. The council was highly satisfied with the outcome, and the precinct is now equipped with premium outdoor seating that will serve the community for years to come.
